I enjoyed the first podcast, though shooting the video was pretty time consuming. I also had fun editing and laying out the video. It was good to get the experience of shooting video and editing the video, which is what I wanted hoped to get out of this class. Brandon and I shot our videos together to save on time and it was interesting to have a sort of crash course in using the camcorder and trying to get the audio to record clearly with the lapel mic. We ran into some problems with lighting and white balance, but I think they turned out decent for our first podcasts. I hope my future podcasts show improvement in my video editing and shooting skills. Also I will probably try to keep some aspects of the podcast light-hearted so they are not so mundane to watch. Overall I enjoyed working with iMovie HD and using the video equipment.

Way fun! I really enjoyed the transitions of guitar playing and rocking out. I liked how you kept the guitar theme and used different transitions throughout the podcast. Good first try and I'm excited about you final video project. The only thing I would suggest is that I would have liked to see some title pages, especially at the end, to let me know for sure that you were done. But overall, I liked it.
I agree that was awesome! The guitar transitions were really cool. I also would have liked to see at least some credits near the end for full closure of the podcast. Overall a great first podcast, with good transition ands effects placed throughout. I look forward to your future videos including your final project.
I am really looking forward to the next podcast, my father is a guitar player and the last I was in the States I bought him Fender, now he really wants Lucile - this is kind of guitar he really likes to play, I did not start looking for it:)) I found content was really good, the final project will be very informative and helpful to all of us! Great first podcast. The guitar transitions really fit especially with your music background. By the way, is that you playing? Your pretty good. HAHA...
I noticed the audio in the beginning sounded almost digitized and echo-like. I know you said you had some problems with the mic, but it sounds much clearer later on. I know other people have had some problem using those cameras and the lapel mics. Next time you get a camera, let me know and we can work on it. Your audio also seemed a little low, again this may be because of the problems with the mic. There is a way to adjust your audio in iMovie though; if you dont alreay know how to do this, let me know and I can show you. The lighting is a little dark, not too bad though like you mentioned in my comments. You might want to move by a window (I know I have mentioned this in everyone's comments, but window lighting is really the easiest way to light something.) You do cover all the required "questions" for the podcast which is good; I know I left out a couple of things. It was very informative and enjoyable to watch. I am really looking forward to seeing your final video. It sounds like something I would really be interested in, once I learned more about it. Also, if you need help, let me know and I would be glad to help.
